John: Bento East is a tiny take-out restaurant, literally a hole in the wall, with a correspondingly tiny menu and low prices. Choose white or brown rice, and chicken, beef or tofu, and you're set. For a side "dish", Costco-style dim sum are heating up in the steamer. On Tuesdays, spicy "slam your skull against the ceiling" eggplant is offered. I've had not-quite-done-yet chicken here a couple of times, but the guy gets irate if you ask him if it's fully cooked. I've eaten here many times, and only once did I not get diarrhea, nevertheless it's decent food at a great price. I give it a "OK cat".

Emma: If you're wanting a quick and easy lunch, this is the place! The menu is just small enough that you don't have to stare at it for a long time until you know what you want. I recommend the chicken sate with peanut sauce, the bean bao (a bun filled with sweet bean paste), and the chicken shumai. Just keep in mind that there isn't any indoor seating. The tables outside are covered, but not the best place to eat when it's too hot or too cold. It's a good idea to drive there and eat in the car. Anyway, I think it's a good place to eat when you feel like rice and meat, and, just to let you know, I've never gotten sick eating here. I give Bento East a "happy cat"!
